Owning your own computer is not required at RIT, however, it is a very good tool to have. The CE department minimum recommendations for PC systems are listed below.
If you are an Apple user, most of the current Apple machines are acceptable. The new Intel based machines are particularly nice in that one can run both OS-X and Windows on them. There are many other options when purchasing a machine. If you have any questions, please email the webmaster.
