Digital Simulated Pinball
The project is to create a digital pinball machine with an authentic pinball feel. This will be achieved by interfacing real pinball parts into a computer that will run a simulated pinball environment. The parts used will include real pinball buttons, ball puller and a coin drop mechanism. The computer will drive a 3d pinball simulator to a 42 inch plasma display as well as a secondary 15 inch display that will output score information. The arrangement of the output displays and hardware will match that of a real pinball machine.
