Sergei received a Bachelor of Science Degree in September of 2006 in Computer Engineering. He is currently employed by Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Software Engineer focusing on aviation radar mode engineering, development and flight test support. Prior to his permanent employment, he had internship/co-op experience at Intel Corporation (2005 and 2006) in post–silicon validation and performance groups and Critical Link LLC (2004) in software and digital systems groups.

Dmitriy completed dual MS and BS degrees in August 2007, focusing on Hybrid-FPGA architecture and hardware/software co-design for his Master's Thesis. He is currently employed by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in the Instrument Software and Science Data Systems section. Prior to joining JPL, he was employed by Draper Laboratory (2007–2008) and had internship/co-op experience at NASA JPL (2006), Syracuse Research Corporation (2005), NASA Dryden Flight Research Center (2005), and Brookhaven National Laboratory (2004).
