The Autonomous Rover is a path-following and obstacle-avoidance vehicle. Its primary goal is to get from one end of a path to the other, while avoiding obstacles along the way. The robot will accomplish this by using an IR sensor array, giving it a "view" of the world around it. Color sensors will detect the path boundaries and ensure the robot is moving in the proper direction. The Acroname Brainstem PIC microcontroller will be the brain of the robot.
