The purpose of the Firefighter Vital Sign Acquisition System (FVSAS) is
to obtain heart rate, pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation, respiration
rate, and continuous ECG waveform and wirelessly transfer the data from
an on-duty firefighter to a mobile monitoring station. A custom health
algorithm produces an overall level-of-health metric to display to a scene
commander while indicating remaining compressed air levels and cardiac

Performed successful firefighter-side power test
with 12V drill battery. The unit sent consistent data for one hour. After
~75 minutes, the boards remained on, but could not send accurate data.
This issue will not be investigated since the unit already surpasses out
40 minute goal.
