Description: The modified tank has eight infrared proximity sensors to detect obstacles: two on either side, two in front, and two in the rear.  In addition, a photo light sensor is mounted in the center of the vehicle to detect a light beacon, which is used to guide the tank in the direction of the light source.  Each tank track is driven by a DC motor interfaced to the microcontroller via a dual H-bridge circuit.
